Nano Bang Bang Live & Condensed

A 10 minute rendering of Nanobangbang's live set
in The Cave at the O.P.E.R.A house Grand Closing on August 10th 2008.

This set spans many moods and genres...

SET LIST:

1."Introduction"- text by Deena OH, sound collaboration with Chris Cuellar.

2. "Lonely" - solo, portishead style version of Elvis' "Heartbreak Hotel" sang over a found tape of heartbroken and lonley Texas woman.

3. "Flutter & Bounce"- barbershop quartet style song with drums featuring Allison Moore & Dakota Smith of Peel, Kevin Adickes of Moth!Fight!, and Winston Reed Chapman of Gayle Gold.

4. "I Need Your Love"- the dismantled and reassembled "Unchained Melody" into a 3-part soulful cheer featuring Elana L of Krazayzayzay.

5. "Rainbang"- signature track, collaboration with Eric Shaefer.

6. "The Long Goodbye"- our unique cover of the song from the Altman movie based on the Chandler book, collaboration with Chad A:

7. "Travel Technique"- solo prepared improv which ended up being part high-pitched rap,
collaboration with Chad A:

Space Work

Right now I'm going crazy over my workspace (aka deenasphere) not being in order.

I'm in session in process in progression of the space.

Gonna come back and put up a few images of some Deenasphere's at varying locations over the years.

But the reason I posted was to share what's below..
